About

Biography

After growing up in Europe and experiencing the French, British, German and American approaches to education firsthand, I was introduced to the educational breakthroughs of American educator, L. Ron Hubbard. By applying the techniques I learned, I was able to complete two university Bachelor’s degrees in less than four years and then get a full scholarship for Graduate School, completing a two-year Master’s Degree program in a year. During this period, I earned extra money by tutoring other students who were experiencing difficulties in their coursework. Over and over, I got the opportunity to see how effective these learning methods were.

After several years of working in research and development at Bell Labs, I got married and moved to Texas. I saw my own children and other students becoming unhappy with their education. From my earlier experiences, I knew that learning should be fun and rewarding, so I went back to school to become an educator and, after intensive training, opened Oak Crest Private School in 1999.

I have made it my life’s work to provide children with the opportunity to receive an education where they master what is being learned fully, and where they have a friendly environment that focuses on the ability to apply what has been learned rather than test-taking skills. I measure my success in the joy and competence of our students.

When I have time off, I love to ski, hike, travel the world, and make scrapbooks of my adventures.
