About
Biography
Deja was a professional athlete for Team USA before becoming a teacher. Outside of Oak Crest, she is a mother and army wife. She enjoys reading and running in her spare time. WSU planted an oak tree in honor of her athletic achievements. She is an active member of the Embassy Sports Envoy program.
In addition to running our middle school class, she has also started an after-school theater club for our students.
What is your favorite thing about Oak Crest?
I love how students can learn hands-on. I enjoy the structure of our curriculum.

Favorite subject in school:
My favorite subject was English. It gave me the opportunity to empty my brain.
