Oak Crest Private School’s uniforms aim to give students many options within a common general look. With a choice of navy and grey for trousers, skirts and jackets, and plaid jumpers with several colors for blouses and shirts, the students have many options with regard to how they want to combine their pieces. Look at the slide show above or click on the link to Lands’ End, our uniform supplier, below to get an idea of the many possibilities.
Younger students may change for P.E., but this is not required. Junior School and Middle School students have a P.E. uniform that they are expected to change into for their P.E. classes.
Shoes and Socks for Boys
Boys may wear tennis shoes or loafers with non-marking soles. No crocs, boots or sandals are allowed. Athletic shoes are required on P.E. days. Socks must be navy or white.
Shoes, Socks and Tights for Girls
Girls may wear tennis shoes, loafers or Mary Jane style shoes. All shoes must be closed-toe with non-marking soles. No crocs, boots or sandals are allowed. Socks or tights must be navy or white. Navy leggings may be worn under skirts or jumpers, but may not be worn in place of trousers. Skirts and jumpers need to be mid-thigh length or longer.
